In March, Daft Notions ran a trader table at Clunes Book Town Festival, where plenty of copies of Conversations With My Cat (pre-signed by MacReady McKenzie) and The Dark Man, By Referral and Less Pleasant Tales were sold. It was a fun couple of days, with local and interstate authors, publishers and attendees mingling, buying, and sharing their enthusiasm for all things bookish. In April, Daft Notions traded at Supanova Comic Expo in Melbourne, and had a similarly successful couple of days. The huge banner with MacReady on it was a real crowd-puller, with people spotting it from the opposite side of the pavilion.
